Ian Rayer-Smith

Born in Farnham, England, in 1970, Ian Rayer-Smith embarked on a unique journey into the world of art after spending two decades in the distribution and health lifestyle industries. Despite lacking formal training or prior artistic experience, Rayer-Smith discovered his innate talent for painting as a form of escapism at the age of 36.

Fascinated by the expressive potential of the medium, Rayer-Smith made a remarkable transition from entrepreneur to full-time artist, driven by his newfound passion for painting.

Following the completion of a degree in visual arts, he embarked on a dynamic trajectory within the art world, garnering attention from esteemed collectors, earning accolades through various awards, and receiving recognition in international art publications.
